We walk our own journey in life, shaped in no small part by the people and circumstances that touch us along the way. Kevin's life and actions contributed to the shape of my own life. I wish for peace; for his soul, and for the spirit of each person who mourns his loss.

I will always remember the gardenia you gave me to wear in my hair
at the OHS Christmas Ball, listening to David Bowie, your beautiful cats.
So many fun memories- I am so glad we kept in touch over the years.
Life is a journey- I feel privileged to have traveled part of it with you.
May your memory be a blessing.
My deepest condolences to your family.

With love,

I'm so sorry to hear of Kevin's passing. It seems like just a few months ago that I saw him in Dutchway having a meal with his caretaker. We talked for a few moments. His shop was only a couple of doors down from our home and he always did such a great job doing my hair. Kevin was always so kind and friendly to everyone he came in contact with. My prayers are with his family at this time of grief.

So sad to hear that Kevin has passed. I have fond memories of living two doors down and our many talks on gardening and plants. He had an outside porch full of them... He could get anything to grow and would share clippings with me. Talented, kind soft spoken 2nd avenue will not be the same without the gentle tall giant living there. I can see him now walking up the steep hill and waving. Kevin loved his church and was someone that
has gone too soon.
Will miss you Kevin

Janie and family,
So sorry to hear of the passing of your brother. Although I didn't know him well, I always heard what a great hairdresser he was and now I am learning just how talented he was with flowers. We are thinking of you.

I was so sorry and sad to hear about Kevin. I have many fond memories of him. We became close friends during our High School years. He used to send me notes that always made me laugh decorated with his cartoon characters. My mother gave us dance lessons in our living room. We practiced for weeks. At the OSH Talent Contest we performed the “Jitter Bug” and won first place. I lost touch with Kevin after graduation, but I will always remember him as a kind, creative, considerate, funny person who was wonderful friend to me.

My condolences to Kevin’s family and his many friends.

Sincerely,
Ann Marie Holl Voynow

I just found out that Kevin passed on and I am stunned beyond belief.  No one ever really expects to lose friends so early in life.  Kevin and I had not been in touch for many years but I still consider him a good friend and a very important chapter in my own book of life.  Kevin and I shared many common interests and I think if we had lived closer would have continued to strengthen our friendship.  I still remember those beautiful and very fragrant lilies that he brought me and how he assisted me after I had surgery and was in a lot of pain and unable to get around very well.  We both had a love of pets, gardening, nature and Rehoboth Beach, DE.  The world is a poorer place without Kevin to brighten it's garden.
