Theodore H. Yunkin, 50, of Modena, died on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at his home. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of Shirley Bailey Byers of Dushore and stepson of the late Gerald Byers.


Ted was a 1980 graduate of CASH and was employed by Krapf Coaches. He was a life member of the Coatesville VFW and the Westwood Fire Co. He was also active with the VFW Riders Assoc.


He is survived, in addition to his Mother, by his companion of 13 years, Debbie J. Fryberger, four siblings; Chrisie Morales of Dushore, Rusty Yunkin of West Chester, Kelly Byers of Paradise and David Byers of Lancaster and nieces and nephews.


Memorial services will be held on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 8pm with visitation from 7 to 8pm at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA 19365. Interment services will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 11:00am at the Glen Run Cemetery, Atglen, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wilde Funeral Home.

the world is missing a truely wonderful man and the heavens have gained a star.. to the family left behind and mostly debbie i'm so sorry for your loss. teddy was a great friend to my dad kinda like a brother, he was always there for me and he loved my kids deeply as they did him. he will be forever missed RIP TEDDY and DEBBIE i am always here for you and i love you.

Teddy, im going to miss you man. we had alot of good times at darts and even golfing. You left us to early my man. You will always be remembered by myself and alot of others.
