Glenn A Sheetz, 77, of West Caln Twp.,formerly of Westwood, passed away on Thursday, January 5th, 2012 at the Brandywine Hospital.  He was the beloved husband of  Joyce McComsey Sheetz, with whom he shared 57 years of marriage.  

 
Born in Edgemont, Pa. at the DelChester Farm, he was the son of the late Paul and Bessie Almoney Sheetz.  
 
An area resident most of his life, he was employed as a Mechanic for Lambert, Fling, E.H. Keen and Courtesy Chrysler retiring in 1996.  
 
He is survived, in addition to his wife, by three children: Ronald G. Sheetz, fiancee of Jill Knox, of Mt Joy, Cynthia E. Gibbon, wife of Randy, of West Leechburg, Pa. and Jan Marie Townsend of Dallas, Pa.; daughter-in-law, Carol Sheetz of Gap and former daughter-in-law, Lisa Sheetz of Parkesburg; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; two step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren; and one niece and two nephews.
 
He was predeceased by his son, James R. Sheetz, who died in 2008, and his two brothers, Paul and Raymond.
 
The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 10th at 11 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment in the Penningtonville Presbyterian Cemetery of Atglen.  Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 10 until the time of the service.
