Lucille S. Hoskins, 80, of Coatesville, passed away at the Coatesville VA Hospice Unit on Saturday, September 10, 2011. Born in Bainbridge Island, Washington, she was the daughter of the late Gunnar and Ingeborg Strand Hanson. She proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean War. Lucille lived in the area for over 57 years. She was employed by Wyeth Laboratories in West Chester retiring in 1982.


 


She is survived by three children; George "Rick" R. Hoskins, Jr. of Indianola, Washington, Brian L. Hoskins and wife Cheri of Parkesburg, Barbara, wife of Steve Patterson of Coatesville, step daughter Linda Profeto of Coatesville, nine grandchildren and three siblings; Earl S. Hanson and Jeanette Vert both of Washington State and Reynold S. Hanson of Rochester, NY.


Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 11:00 am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Upper Octorara Cemetery, Parkesburg. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing from 10 to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Coatesville VA Medical Center, 1400 Blackhorse Hill Rd., Coatesville, PA 19320.

Linda, Rickie, Bri and Barb;

I was so sorry to hear about your Mom. I'll be thinking of you all during this difficult time. I will always remember Lucille as being a fun full of life person. I'm sorry I couldn't be there today.
