Zachary A. Weaver

Zachary A. Weaver, 24, of Coatesville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at his home, surrounded by his family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on December 20, 1985 in West Chester, he was the son of D. Scott and Charlynn Allen Weaver of Coatesville.  He was a 2004 graduate of Coatesville Area High School.  He was employed by the Coatesville branch of C.T.D.I.

Zachary was an active member of the Parkesburg Baptist Church, helping as a sound technician.

He is survived, in addition to his parents, by his brother, Joshua D. Weaver, his paternal grandparents, Bettie and Donald Weaver of Coatesville, maternal grandmother, Arlene Allen of Parkesburg and his uncles, Todd Allen of Parkesburg, J. Michael Weaver, husband of Elizabeth of Philadelphia, and Donald L. Weaver Jr., husband of Cindy, of Ohio.  He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Tom Allen.

The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at 5 p.m. at the Parkesburg Baptist Church, West St., Parkesburg.  Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing, which will be held at the Church from 2 p.m. until 5 PM.  The interment will be held on Monday, April 19 at 11 a.m. at the Upper Octorara Cemetery of Parkesburg.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Zachary's memory to "The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation" (memo: Neuro-oncology Dept.), Lockbox #1352, P.O. Box 8500, Philadelphia, PA 19178-1352.
