Yvonne A. Mcgaw

Yvonne A. McGaw, "Cookie”, 79 of Coatesville, PA passed away on September 13, 2022, at Kindred Rehab In Havertown, PA. She was the widow of the late Oliver McGaw and Gene Dixon. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Earl E Taylor Sr. and Anna M. Thompson Brown.

Yvonne worked as a mail clerk for the US Postal Service System and enjoyed working at Ross clothing store in Exton, PA. Yvonne was also a member of the Christian Historical Society since its inception in 2000. She was not only a mom, grandmom, and great-grandmother but a friend to many. She was a tough "cookie" and loved by all.

She is survived by her sons Tyrone McGaw of Coatesville, Darryl Dixon Sr. and wife, Felice of Media, PA. 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and siblings Darlene A. Colon, Martha Taylor, Robert Taylor, Earl Taylor Jr, and his wife Jackie, of Pomeroy, PA. She was preceded in death by a daughter Antionette "Toni" Dixon and siblings Andrea Middleton, Victoria Bookman, Arla Taylor, William Taylor, Abram Taylor, Frederick Taylor, Gerald Taylor, and Richard Thompson.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Wilde Funeral home.
