Wilma J. Rice, 87, formerly of Wagontown, passed away on May 12, 2017 at the Tel-Hai Retirement Community. She was the widow of the late Raymond H. Rice who died in 2003. Born in Lititz, PA, she was the daughter of the late and Harlan H. and Gladys S. Tullock Hoffman .
Wilma was a 1948 graduate of the Lititz High School. She was employed in the kitchen at the Coatesville VoTech School. She also baked and cooked professionally from her home.
She was a member of Kings Way Independent Church of Sadsburyville, a life member of the former Martins Corner Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and a 50 year member of a pinochle card club. She enjoyed camping with her husband and later enjoyed traveling with her sister.
She is survived by her sister Dawn Ammon of Wagontown, her nieces and nephews, Cindy L. Cooney and husband John of West Caln, Timothy A. Ammon of East Fallowfield and Mark A. Ammon and wife Lisa of Wagontown, two great nephews and one great great nephew.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 11:00am from the Tel-Hai Chapel, 1200 Tel Hai Circle, Honey Brook, PA 19344 followed by interment at the the Glenwood Memorial Gardens in Broomall, PA. Viewing at the Chapel from 10:00am - 11:00am.
