William "Chet" Ramsay Iii

William Chester "Chet" Ramsay III, 85, of East Fallowfield Township, PA, passed away at his home on Sunday, November 27, 2022.  He was the husband of the late Jean M. Ramsay who passed in 2020.  Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late William Chester Jr. and Edith Wood Ramsay.

Chet was a self employed Antique dealer specializing in music boxes. He was a member of the Fallowfield Friends Meeting House.  He was Past Master of Masonic Lodge #564 in Coatesville.  He was a Boy Scout leader, member of the Chester County Trail Club, Friends of Hibernia, and the Musical Box Society International.

He is survived by his daughters, Dianne Caldwell of Gap, PA, and Connie Ramsay of Lancaster, six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy McNally.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. from the Wilde Funeral Home, Parkesburg, PA, with visitation starting at 9:30 a.m. Masonic services will be held at 10:50 a.m.  Interment to follow at Fallowfield Friends Burial Grounds, Coatesville, PA.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Brandywine River Valley Hospice.
