W. Lloyd Webster

W. Lloyd Webster, 92, of Ercildoun, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at the Freedom Village of West Brandywine. He was the husband of the late June Yost Webster who died in 2004. Born in Ercildoun, he was the son of the late Warren and Alice Bietler Webster.
Lloyd was a lifelong resident of Erildoun. He served in the US Army during WWII as a Medical Technician in the Pacific Theater. He was the 3rd generation to own and operate Webster's General Store in Ercildoun. Lloyd was a member of Fallowfield Friends Meeting, the Brandywine Goddard Lodge #383 F. & A.M. of Coatesville, the Reading Valley Consistory, the Rajah Temple, the Brandywine Shrine Club and the Tall Cedars of Lebanon.
He is survived by one daughter Ann W. O'Donnell, wife of Michael, of Kennett Square and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three siblings; Elizabeth W. Ford, Rachael Trimble and Robert W. Webster.
Funeral services will held on Sunday, September 11, 2011 at 3:00 from the Fallowfield Friends Meeting, 800 Doe Run Road, E. Fallowfield, PA followed by interment in the adjoining burial grounds.  Visitation will be held at the Meeting from 2 until 3 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Fallowfield Friends' Meeting at the above address.
