Virginia S. Wilson

Virginia "Tookey" Wilson, 98, of West Chester, passed away on Saturday, May, 8, 2021 at Harrison House Senior Living in Coatesville. She was the widow of the late William S. Wilson who died in 2014. They shared 68 years of marriage together. Born in Broomall, PA, she was the daughter of the late William H. Schreck and Virginia Smith Schreck.

Virginia was a West Chester resident for 96 years. She was a graduate of the West Chester High School and later Goldey Beacom College in Wilmington, DE. She was employed as a secretary for Dupont for several years before becoming a homemaker. Virginia was a member of Grove United Methodist Church. She was an avid bowler for over 30 years.

She is survived by one daughter-in-law Joan Wilson of Parkesburg, granddaughter Samantha Wilson and fiancee Deon Stafford, three step grandchildren Gina Langan of Parkesburg, Rita Standring, wife of William Standring of West Chester and Nicholas DiObilda, husband of Aimee Seeker DiObilda of Coatesville and nine step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Wilson, and her grandson, Michael Wilson.
