Virgie R. Owens

Virgie R. Owens, 75, of Parkesburg, passed away on Friday, December 10th, 2011 at her home.

Born in Mountain City, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Roby and Hollie (Henderson) Owens.

She was retired from the Chester County Intermediate Unit where she worked as a Secretary for 20 years.

Virgie was a member of the Towerville Christian Church.

She is survived by her siblings, Mamie Soehner, Victoria Pawlowski, Sue Pluck and Irene Patton, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 11 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment in the Hephzibah Baptist Cemetery of East Fallowfield. Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 10 until 11 AM.
