Valerie Lynn Canfield

Valerie Lynn Canfield, 58, of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2011, at her home.  Born in Lancaster she was the daughter of  the late Irvin and Mary Shearer Reed.

She was a graduate of Octorara high School and was employed in the electronics division of Princeton University.

She is survived by her children, Golda Amber Reed of Savannah, GA, Michael J. Canfield of East Petersburg, PA, and Matthew J. Canfield of Stevens, PA, six grandchildren, one great grandchild, and siblings, Andrew D. ,husband of Diana Reed of Gap, Brent I, husband of Debbie Reed of Atglen, and Brenda F., wife of George Albright of Millsboro, DE.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St.,Parkesburg, PA, 19365 on Saturday, July 30, 2011, at 3:00pm.  Friends may call on Saturday from 2:00pm until 3:00pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the funeral home.at the above address.  Online condolences can be posted at www.wildefuneralhome.com
