Thomas A. Madonna, Sr.

Thomas A. Madonna, Sr., 73, of Newlin Township, Coatesville, PA died on Sunday morning, November 27, 2016 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy Spillane Madonna with whom he shared 43 years of marriage. Born in West Chester, he was the son of Catherine Stackhouse Mann of Wellington, FL and the late Anthony J. Madonna.

Tom was a County resident all his life. He graduated from St. Agnes School in West Chester. He later attended Goldey Beacom College in Delaware. He was employed by Pepperidge Farms in Downingtown retiring in 1998 as a maintenance supervisor with over 30 years of service.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by five children; Kathleen Julius and husband Greg of Oxford, Allison Madonna of Exton, Kristin Madonna of Coatesville, Thomas A. Madonna, Jr. of Coatesville and Tina Marie Wright, ten grandchildren, one great grandchild and two siblings; Anthony J. Madonna, Jr. of Parkesburg and Joanne Pierce of Wellington, FL. He was preceded in death by one daughter Michelle Leonard.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 11:30am at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Romansville Methodist Cemetery in Romansville, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing from 10:00am to the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to Neighborhood Hospice, 400 East Marshall Street, West Chester, PA 19380.
