Theodore Solly Wilson

Theodore Solly Wilson, 92, of East Fallowfield, Pa., passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at the Brandywine Hospital. He was the husband of Helen Saponaro Wilson with whom he shared 64 years of marriage. Born in Richboro, PA he was the son of the late Harry and Edna Solly Wilson.

Ted graduated from George School in Newtown, PA. He lived and worked most of his life in Bucks County as a self employed dairy farmer and peach grower. After retirement, Mr. Wilson enjoyed woodworking. A resident of Chester Co. for the past 22 years, he was a member of the St. Malachy Church, Cochranville, PA where he got involved with several church restoration projects.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by four daughters; Edna Jean, wife of Jack Farris of Angier, NC, Ann Wilson of East Fallowfield, Denise, wife of Earl Waltemyer of Wyalusing, PA and Mary, wife of Kenneth Wolf of Warrenton, PA, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one brother Dr. Cameron Wilson of Richboro, PA. He was preceded in death by two siblings; Robert Wilson and Lucille Jacobson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at 11:00 am from the St. Malachy Chapel, Malachy Road, Cochranville, PA 19330 followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing at the Chapel from 10:00am to the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Malachy Church, 603 West 2nd Ave., Parkesburg, PA 19365 or Neighborhood Hospice Center, 400 E. Marshall, West Chester, PA 19380.
