Thelma M. Hauman

Thelma M. Hauman, 94, of Coatesville, passed away on Saturday August 5, 2017 at Hickory House Nursing Home. She was the wife of the Late Dewey H. Hauman with whom she shared 60 years of marriage. Born in Fulton County, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Lena (Thomas) and Obed Mellott.

Thelma was an area resident for much of her life and was a member of the Kingsway Independent Church of Sadsburyville.

She is survived by three children; Dewey H. Hauman of Penn Yan New York, Deborah Susan wife of Harold Ross of Quarryville, Rebecca Michelle wife of Kenneth Hollingsworth of Sadsbury Twp; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; as well as three siblings Estella Mellott, Betty Mellott, and Blanche Mellott.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 9th at 3 PM from the Wilde Funeral home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by an internment at Upper Octorara Cemetery in Parkesburg. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 -3 PM.
