Teresa L. Wertz

Teresa L. Wertz, 60, of Ronks, PA, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, PA. Born in West Grove, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas E. Wertz, Sr. and Alice Jean Kreider Wertz.

Teresa was an area resident all her life and had attended the Pequea Valley High School. She was employed by the Revere Best Western Motel in Paradise, PA in the housekeeping department.

She is survived by four children; Matthew J. Wertz and wife Crystal of Sellersville, PA, Jennifer L. Wertz of Leola, PA, Gary L. Flaud of Exton, PA and Monica N. Cummings of Ronks, PA, 14 grandchildren and four siblings; Karen Stoltzfus and husband D. David of Ephrata, PA, Thomas Wertz, Jr. and wife Cindy of Narvon, PA, Sharon Wertz of Intercourse, PA, and Gail Yonce of Manheim. She was preceded in death by one sister Sandra Bulick.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Glen Run Baptist Cemetery, Atglen, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to the time of the service.
