Suzette Solange Jones

Suzette Solange Jones, 62, of Parkesburg passed away unexpectedly at her home on January 20, 2022. Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Clayton B. Jones Jr. and the late Odette (Lee) Jones. She was married to the late Stanley Warren, with whom she shared 26 years of marriage.

Suzette was a graduate of The Vail-Deane School and went on to obtain a Bachelor’s degree from Ramapo College of New Jersey.  In conjunction with her political studies, she worked in the office for the late and longtime New Jersey US Congresswoman Marge Roukema.

Whether it was a daily wave to neighbors while walking her dogs or picking up litter along the roadside, Suzette tried to make the world a little bit better because she was in it. She was always ready to go the extra mile for people and causes she believed in. Locally, she was well known for her annual neighborhood dog party in her fenced-in yard. While the dogs romped, the adults enjoyed a cookout.

She is survived by siblings Clayton B. Jones III of Connecticut and Nanette Lee Jones of New Hampshire and Stanley’s daughters, Madeleine Martinez of New York and Jessica Morse of Pennsylvania and all their families.

No memorial service will be held at this time due to Covid.
