Suzanne Graybeal

Suzanne C. Graybeal, 75, of Coatesville, PA, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Monday, February 17, 2025. She was the wife of Albert "Bert" Graybeal for over 54 years. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Foster and Helena (Wolfrum) Crane. 

Suzanne was a 1967 graduate of Downingtown High School and completed X-ray training at the former Coatesville Hospital. She then worked as an x-ray technician at Paoli Hospital. Later she worked in retail sales at The Mustard Seed Christian Bookstore in Exton, PA. She was a member of Parkesburg Baptist Church serving as a Deacon, on the Missions Board, and with Parkesburg Churches Community Outreach.

Following in her father's footsteps of Christian service, Suzanne was passionate about spreading the word of God and helping people in need. In her work at The Mustard Seed, she would quietly pay for Bibles for less fortunate customers. She worked with a missionary in Arizona to help native American families on the Navajo and Hopi reservation. She also worked with Tina Myers developing a community outreach program at Parkesburg Baptist Church. She was instrumental in expanding that program to include all of the local churches in the Parkesburg area. When Suzanne's health issues prevented her from working outside the home, she took up the mission of feeding stray animals and birds in the backyard.

She was most passionate about spending time with her children and grandchildren. Vacationing with them at the Outer Banks, Disney World, and Hawaii was wonderful and gave her fulfillment in her later years.

In addition to her husband, Suzanne is survived by her sons Brian (Becky) of Bethlehem, PA, and Jeffrey (Grace) of Cypress, TX; grandchildren Hannah, Sam, Ben, and Katherine; and brother Walter McClelland of Newtown Square, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Parkesburg Baptist Church, 103 West Street, Parkesburg, PA 19365 with visitation starting at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA, at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 24, 2025.
