Susie S. Stoltzfus

Susie S. Stoltzfus, 81, of Honey Brook, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at the Tel-Hai Retirement Community. She was the beloved wife of John D. Stoltzfus with whom she shared 61 years of marriage. Born in Narvon, she was the daughter of the late Ammon and Emma Stoltzfus.

Susie was employed for many years along side her family at Stoltzfus Farm Service of Cochranville which was established in 1967 by husband. She enjoyed serving as a volunteer at Tel-Hai, and with MCC, MDS and also at her home church, Media Mennonite of Oxford.

She is survived, in addition to her husband, by four sons; Marvin Stoltzfus and wife Susan of Cochranville, James Stoltzfus and wife Cindy of Parkesburg, Wayne Stoltzfus of Cochranville and Erwin Stoltzfus and wife Robin of Cochranville, nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and three sisters; Rebecca Smoker of Gap, Sylvia Haas of Elverson and Sadie Esh of Intercourse. She was preceded in death by daughter -in-law, Mary Aileen Stoltzfus and two siblings.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 11:00 am from the Maple Grove Mennonite Church, 549 Swan Road, Atglen, PA followed by interment in the adjoining church cemetery. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing at the church on Friday evening from 6 to 8:00 pm and also Saturday morning 10:00 am to the time of the service.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Wilde Funeral Home of Parkesburg.
