Steven A. Sturges

Steven A. Sturges, 65, of Westfield, PA, passed away at the home his daughter in Gap, PA on Friday, January 6, 2017. He was the husband of the late Gail C. Sturges who died in 2008. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Elwood and Hazel Patton Sturges.

He attended the Coatesville Area Schools and was an area resident most his life. For the past 20 years, Steve resided in Tioga County. He was employed for 30 years by the Lukens Steel Co. of Coatesville.

He is survived by two daughters; Karrie A. Hart and husband Timothy of Gap, PA and Katherine A. Sturges-Hart and husband Daniel Hart of Oxford, PA, nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two sisters; June Brown and husband Norman of Nottingham and Sharon Sturges-Johnson and husband John Johnson of Georgia.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 2:00pm at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing from 12:00 noon to the time of the service.
