Steven Robert Austin

Steven Robert Austin (Dickey), 64, of Coatesville, passed away at his home on Friday, January 3, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Deborah Brown Austin. Born in Augusta, Georgia, he was the son of the late Robert Walter Dickey and Barbara Mary Surman Dickey.

Steve was a 1979 graduate of the Valley Forge Christian Academy. He was employed, for over 30 years, as a janitor by the East Amwell Township School District in Ringoes, NJ retiring in 2017. He was a member of the Cornerstone Fellowship of Coatesville, PA.

Steve will be missed so much. He was a kind gentle man that had a great love for his family. He was a man of God and his faith was who he was. Always had a kind word about people Always finding the good in them.

He is survived by his wife Deborah, in addition by one stepdaughter; Theona Flemmings of Coatesville, one step-grandson; Joell Knight, two sisters; Valerie Stahl and husband Bill of Gilbertsville, PA and Melissa Tallamy and husband Russ of Limerick, PA and one nephew; Josh Tallamy, three nieces; Lauren Stahl, Alissa Stahl, Danielle Myers and husband Brian and one great-niece Alexis Myers.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2020, at 11:00 AM at the Cornerstone Fellowship Church, 101 Kylies Road, Coatesville, PA 19320. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing at the church from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM.

A luncheon will be provided after at the church to celebrate Steve's life
