Steve Berwanger

Steve Berwanger, 57, of Honey Brook, passed away at his home on Wednesday, August 7, 2019. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Barbara Anne Barger, and Arnold Louis Berwanger. He was the husband of Daphne Martinez Berwanger, and longtime companion of Sharon D. Wertz.

Steve was a high school graduate of the Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal, VA. After school, he served in the US Navy. He worked in construction as a self employed contractor.

He fathered four children; Sarah Hinterberger of Buffalo, NY, Tyler Berwanger of Lexington, KY, Justin Berwanger of Strasburg, PA and Arika Berwanger of Philadelphia, five grandchildren, and one brother Mark Berwanger of Coatesville, PA.
