Stephen J. Harkins

Stephen J. Harkins, formerly of Hatboro and Hellertown, PA, passed away April 9, 2014 at the Abington Hospice of Warminster, due to heart failure. He was 57.

Steve was the son of Frances M. Harkins of Hatboro and the late James J. Harkins, Jr. Also surviving are brothers, Kevin and Sean, sister, Frances, a niece and a nephew.

A 1974 graduate of Upper Moreland High School, Steve was a several year member of the Wrestling Team, enjoyed hunting and nature, and was a master falconer.

He was employed at Point Pleasant Pediatric Specialty Care facility for 20 years. Steve was very well liked by his co-workers and loved by the many disabled children he made happy with his humor and personality.

Interment and services were privately held April 14, 2014 at Our Lady of Dolors Catholic Cemetery, Parkesburg, PA.
