Stanley John Smith

Stanley John Smith, 64, of Coatesville, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020, at the University of Pennsylvania.  He was the husband of Charlotte  Smith.  Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late John D. and Wilhelmina Yancey Smith.

Stanley worked in environmental services at the Coatesville VA.  He enjoyed motorcycles and working on cars.  He was a guitar and bass player and was a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. Stanley was also a active member of the Elite Riders Original motorcycle club and He proudly served in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Smith, and daughters, Charla Smith and Johnnell Smith, wife of James Clark, grandsons, Zion and Isaiah Arnold, and siblings, William and his Wife Rowena T Yancey, Rochelle Henderson, and Michael Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, aunt's and uncles. And special friends Therman Williams, Al Brown, Bird, Arland Jones, and Jo James.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend a memorial service at 11 AM on Monday, December 21, 2020, from the Wilde Funeral Home, Parkesburg, with visitation from 10 AM to 11 AM.
