Shirley A. Knotts

Shirley A. Knotts, 77, formerly of Parkesburg, passed away on Friday, November 1st, 2013 at the Chester County Hospital. She was the widow of the late Lewis H. Knotts, with whom she shared 49 years of marriage.

Born in Chatham, Shirley was the daughter of the late Bernice H. Brown and Fred W. Piper. She was a 1955 graduate of the former West Fallowfield High School.

Shirley had been employed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints of Marshallton where she was also a member.

Shirley is survived by her beloved children: Cheryl Kline of Texas, Cynthia Knotts of Fl., Penny Knotts of Pa. and Andrea Thompson of Pa.; 19 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; and her siblings, Winifred Philips, Wilson, Roy, Sam and Frank Piper.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 11 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg. The viewing will take place from 10 until 11 AM.
