Shirley Jane Fryberger

Shirley Jane Fryberger, 71, of Coatesville, passed away at Brandywine Hospital on May 26, 2016.  She was the wife of Chris Sweigart, Jr. with whom she shared 32 years of marriage.  Born in Thorndale, she was the daughter of the late Howard F. and Elva D. Myers Shaffer.

She was an area resident all her life and was a graduate of Scott high School.  She was a Junior Girl Scout leader.

She is survived in addition to  her husband, by 5 children, Michael Smith of Glenside, Debbie Fryberger , Desiree Sweigart, Christian Sweigart III, and Amy Sweigart all of Coatesville, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren, also her brother, Charles H. Shaffer of New York.

The memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 7 PM with visitation from 6-7  at the Wilde Funeral Home, Parkesburg, Pa

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either Wilde Funeral Home to help defray funeral costs or to American Cancer Society.
