Shirley A. Cox Yoder

Shirley A. Cox Yoder, 68, of Coatesville, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016, at Paoli Hospital.  Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late Kina (Caudell) and Clifton Cox.

An area resident her entire life, Shirley graduated from Brandywine School of Nursing.  She worked as an ICU nurse and also became a Home Infusion Care Nurse.

Shirley attended Upper Octorara Church of Parkesburg.

She is survived by her three children: Belinda Sutherland-Geesey of Narvon, Andrew W. Yoder, husband of Patricia, of Coatesville, and Shannon L. Yoder of Coatesville; six grandchildren, Cora, Lana and Kina Yoder, and Nicholas, Justin and Andrew Geesey; a great, granddaughter, Cecelia Rose; and siblings, Mertie Mills of Cochranville and Frances Duvall of West Grove.

Shirley was predeceased by her son David Sutherland and sister, Patty Jean.

The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 27 at 12 noon at Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg with a visitation from 10 until 12 noon.
