Sandra L. Mcclure

Sandra L. McClure, 72, of Coatesville, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, September 16, 2017, surrounded by her family and friends.  She was the widow of Doc  McClure, Sr., with whom she had shared 30 years of marriage.

Born in Coatesville, Sandi was the daughter of the late Barbara (Jackwood) and Elwood Lawrence.  A resident of Coatesville her entire life, she was a 1962 graduate of Coatesville High School.  She worked at Home Interiors for 40 years, and most recently worked in companion care for 10 years.

Sandi was an active member of Gateway Church for the past 18 years, serving as the Kids Ministry Leader for 15 years.  Sandi was also lovingly known as Mom, Nana, Miss Sandi, Aunt Sandi and the Home Interiors Lady.  She touched many lives and made everyone she met feel important.  She taught us all to have fun, be kind and love each other.

She is survived by three children: Doc McClure, Jr., husband of Emily, of Coatesville, Shelly Neely, wife of Larry, of Coatesville, and Jodi Davis, wife of Tommy, of Christiana; three grandchildren, TC Davis, Lydia Davis and Maggie McClure; and three siblings, Carol Whitely of Port Royal, Rhonda Holson of Berlin, MD, and Erik Lawrence of Sadsburyville.  She was predeceased by three siblings, Tommy Lawrence, Bobby Lawrence and Donna Lawrence.

The viewing will be held at Gateway Church, 160 Cowan Rd, Parkesburg, PA 19365 on Thursday evening, September 21st from 6 until 9 PM and again on Friday morning from 9 AM until 12 noon.  The funeral service will take place at the Church at 12 noon with Pastor Jon Damon officiating.  Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Coatesville.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Gateway Church Kids Ministry.
