Ruth R. Wilson

Ruth R. Wilson, 98, of West Chester, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022, in west Chester.  Born in Gum Tree, Highland Township, PA, she was the daughter of the late J. Frank and Della Emerson Wilson.

Ruth graduated from Scott High School, Coatesville, in 1941, and a graduated of the Chester County School of Nursing in West Chester.  She retired from the Chester County Hospital as a nursing supervisor in 1988.  She was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church in Highland Township.

She is survived by a cousin, John McIntyre Jr., and his wife, Louise , of Unionville, PA, and their sons, John McIntyre III and Andrew McIntyre.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Norris E. Wilson, and a niece, Cynthia R. Wilson.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
