Ruth Ann Steczak

Ruth Ann Steczak, 79, of West Brandywine Township, passed away at her home on Friday, June 2, 2017. She was the beloved wife of John Steczak with whom she shared 62 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Ervin C. and Ruth Mae Mexill Armentrout.

Ruth was an area resident all her life. She was a devoted mother giving her time, energy, and heart to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her unwavering love and devotion to her husband was an inspiration to all members of her family and friends. Ruth had volunteered as a Girl Scout leader guiding each girl with skills and laughter as they began their life’s journey. She was employed in the cafeteria at the North Brandywine Middle School.

She is survived by three children; Joanne Kornet and husband Paul of West Chester, Susanne Johnson and husband Nelson of Denver, PA and John Bryan Steczak and Patricia Tamborello of Media, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, Inc. 1117 Country Club Rd., Camp Hill, PA 17316.
