Russell L. Probst

Russell L. Probst Jr., 51, of Strasburg, passed away suddenly at the York Hospital. He was the companion of Janice Shubert, with whom he shared 15 years together.

Born on July 21, 1957 in Lancaster, he was the son of Nancy A. and Russell L. Probst Sr. A resident of Strasburg his entire life, he was a graduate of the Lampeter-Strasburg High School and the Willow Street Vo-Tech. He was employed for many years as an automotive mechanic. He was a member of the Strasburg Sportsman's Club, the Elks of Lancaster, the Lancaster Co. Sportsman's Assoc. and the Hawk Gunning Club of York. Russell enjoyed his Harley-Davidson and hunting.

His is survived, in addition to his parents and companion, by his brother, Clintin Probst, husband of Karen, of Ephrata. He was predeceased by his brother Terry Probst.

The Funeral Service and interment at the Strasburg Mennonite Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the Probst and Shubert families.
