Rosemary Rice, 91, of Honey Brook passed away on June 28, 2020 at the Hickory House Nursing Home. She was the widow of the late Harold Lloyd Rice who died on July 9, 2002.
Born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Rose Nieduski and John Raffier. She attended St Cecilia's Catholic Church. Rosemary was a salesperson for Parisian model shop and she worked in the Personnel Department at the Brandywine Hospital.
Rosemary taught herself to play the piano by ear at a very young age and entertained many family and friends all her life up until three years ago.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Worley of West Virginia, Leslie Ferguson and husband Vernon of Coatesville, and grandson, Gerren Murphy of Lancaster and great granddaughter, Maya Murphy, three step-grandchildren; Buzz Ferguson, Lori Poole, and Victor Ferguson and two step great grandchildren; Will Poole and Rashae Poole. She is also survived by her siblings, John Raffier of Honey Brook, Thomas Raffier of Sadsburyville and many nieces and nephews and friends who loved her. She was preceded in death by two infant sons, Bruce Allen and Galen Dean and two sisters Dorrie and Shirley and two brothers Francis and Joe.
The family would like to thank Hickory House Nursing Home and Holisticcare Hospice for the wonderful care that Rosemary received the past few years of her life.
