Rose Rita Capanna

Rose Rita Capanna, 91, of Cochranville, passed away on Thursday, December 26th, 2019 under the care of Ware Presbyterian Village in Oxford.

Born in Philadelphia, Rose was the daughter of the late Annatonia (Giancroce) and Mariano Capanna.

She worked for 17 years at Regina Nursing Home, retiring as a Dietitian Aid.  She was a parishioner of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in West Grove.

Rose is survived by her nieces, Anna, and husband David, Ida, and husband Joe; and nephews, Mario, and wife Tracy Ann, and Domenic; five great-nephews, one great-niece, and her sister-in-law, Palma.

Rose will be remembered for her love of hot tea and her love for her family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 2nd at 11 AM at Assumption BMV, 300 State Rd, West Grove, PA 19390, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeadon.  A viewing will take place at the church from 10:15 until 10:45 AM.
