Rose Marie Garver

Rose Marie Garver, 73, of Coatesville, died on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at the Brandywine Hospital. Born in West Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late James and Edith McCowan.

A County resident her whole life, she was employed by Harrison Senior Living in Christiana, PA as an LPN retiring in 2009. Rose was a faithful member of the Gap Community Church. She enjoyed reading, writing, crocheting, knitting, playing the piano, collecting Angels, watching her favorite movie, Hello Dolly and most of all, spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by one daughter; Lisa Ann, wife of Paul Huyett of Honey Brook, two grandsons, Paul "P.J." Huyett and Kaleb L. Huyett, two brothers Vernon Garver of Coatesville and Richard Garver of Nottingham. She was preceded in death by a sister Layaa May Laird.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 26, 2013 at 11am at St. John's Episcopal Cemetery located in the village of Compass, 1520 W Kings Hwy  Gap, PA 17527 with Pastor Merle Smucker officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA 19365 to help defray funeral expenses.
