Ronald E. (Brownie) Brown, Jr.

Ronald E. (Brownie) Brown Jr., 79, passed away October 31, 2011, in the comfort of his home in Downingtown, PA, surrounded by his devoted family.

He was born April 30, 1932 in Coatesville, PA, to Ronald E. Brown Sr. and Marie I. (Findley) Brown. He lived in Downingtown, PA, for 31 years and previously in the village of Westwood.

He was the manager of Maintenance and Engineering at Pepperidge Farm where he was employed for 39 years. He was a founding member of the “Low Price Spread” hunting camp in Saxton, PA, and enjoyed sports, hunting, and fishing throughout his life.

He was the loving husband of Phyllis H. (Osborn) Brown, with whom he shared 59 years of marriage. He was a devoted father of three daughters: Deborah Baugher, Wendy Brown, and Lisa Wilson and grandfather to six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Hephzibah Baptist Church, 2237 Strasburg Rd, East Fallowfield, PA 19320, on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 1:00 pm. A memorial celebration will commence at 2:00 pm.
