Ronald D. Hilton

April 2, 1948 — February 22, 2015

Ronald D. Hilton, 66, of Cochranville, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at the Jennersville Regional Hospital.  He was the husband of Mary (Matherly) Hilton with whom he shared 35 years of marriage.

Born in Coatesville, Ronald was the son of the late Doris and James Markle.

Ronald was retired from the Pocopson Home as a Unit Clerk.  He later delivered medicine for  Longenecker's Pharmacy.

Ronald served honorably in the US Army.  He was a member of the V.F.W. #4480 of Parkesburg, Christiana American Legion and a lifetime member of the Coatesville Fire Station.

He belonged to the Full Gospel Church in Kennett Square.

He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and loved darts and shooting pool.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by his four children: Janie Johnson, wife of Leonard, of Kennett Square, James Cornett Jr., husband of Tina, of Parkesburg, Anita Cornett, of Kennett Square and Rod Rice, husband of Brenda, of East Earl; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and siblings, Howard, Wayne, Darlene and Dawn.

He was predeceased by his son, Van Cornett.

The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 11 AM at the Full Gospel Church, 430 E South Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348 with visitation from 10 until 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Full Gospel Church at the above address.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Wilde Funeral Home of Parkesburg.
