Roger Owen Martin

Roger Owen Martin, 52, of East Fallowfield, died suddenly at his home on Sunday, November 3, 2013. Born in West Chester, he was the son of Arthur E. Martin, Sr. of West Chester and Loretta Barkman Bingaman and husband Harry of Leola.

Roger was an 1980 honor graduate of Avon Grove High School. After graduation, he continued his education at the Williamson Trade School. He was self employed as a carpenter. He enjoyed auctions, sales, gardening and the outdoors.

He is survived, in addition to his parents and step father, by three siblings; Arthur (Ed) E. Martin, Jr. and wife Katie of Honey Brook, Karen(Martin), wife of David Engle of Honey Brook, and Elaine(Martin), wife of Marty Sloan of Leola, three nieces, two nephews, two great nephews and one great niece.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA with visitation from 10 to 11am.
