Roby K. Phipps

Roby K. Phipps, 83, of Oxford, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Ware Presbyterian Retirement Community in Oxford. Born in Coatesville, Roby was the son of the late Roby K. Phipps, Sr. and Mary Laus Phipps.

A lifelong resident of the area, he graduated from the former Scott High School in Coatesville in 1960. Roby worked for many years as a Press Assistant at Millprint in Downingtown.

Roby was always a kid at heart and was known for his love of spending time with his nieces and nephews. He was especially close with his nephews, often entertaining them with pranks and jokes while sharing his love for the outdoors with them through bike rides, hikes, and camping.

Roby enjoyed being with his family and created many home movies to share with them, capturing moments with his unique sense of humor. A true animal lover, he spent much of his life caring for his pets, who were cherished companions and family.

He is survived by his son, Dean Phipps, and his wife, Anita; and four sisters: Nancy Brown, Carol Eary, Eleanor Rice, and Jannie Cromleigh. Roby was preceded in death by one sister, Donna Conaway.

In keeping with his wishes, services will be private at the convenience of the family
