Robert A. Swift

Robert A. Swift, 57, of Christiana, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the Brandywine Hospital.  He was the beloved husband of Carol Houser Swift, with whom he was married since 1983.

Born in Coatesville, Robert was the son of the late Dorothy K. (Hall) and Donald W. Swift.

He was member of the Christiana American Legion, the Parkesburg V.F.W. and the Rod and Gun Club of Gap.  Robert was employed at Urban Outfitters of Gap.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by his two sons: Robert J. Swift and Trevor W. Swift of Christiana; three grandchildren and two siblings, Betty Thompson of Christiana and Donald Swift of Christiana.

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 11 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg followed by interment in the Atglen Methodist Cemetery.  Viewing will be held from 10 until 11 AM.
