Robert Miller Stauffer

Robert Miller Stauffer, 72, of Honey Brook, PA, formerly of Willow Grove, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Lancaster General Hospital surrounded by his family.  He was the husband of Kathleen (Yohe) Stauffer for over 52 years. She was the love of his life.

Robert went to Abington Memorial Hospital X-ray school where he taught for many years and also earned his Bachelors in Healthcare Administration at Gwynedd Mercy University.  He went on to work at Abington Memorial Hospital, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Lancaster General Hospital.  Most recently, he worked as a substitute teacher at Twin Valley Elementary School where he was loved by his students.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Abington and was former president of the Upper Moreland Music Patrons. His happy places were on the beach, in his gardens, or in his kitchen baking. Above all else, his greatest love was his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Michael Bradley (Jennifer) Stauffer, Gregory Robert (Christina) Stauffer, Timothy Matthew (Melissa) Stauffer, and Julia Emmy (Benjamin) Rohner, his grandchildren, Jocelyn Lee MacDougall, Cali Anne Stauffer, Hope Mae Stauffer, Elizabeth (Libby) Stauffer, Luke Michael Stauffer, Bailey Michelle Tye, Maggie Lyn Stauffer, Rowyn Marie Stauffer, Aidan Timothy Stauffer, Caitlin Mary Stauffer, Grace Elizabeth Rohner, Emmy Rose Rohner, and Allison (Alli) Marie Rohner, with a great grandson on the way. He is also survived by his siblings, Sherryl Lynn Scherff, Joyce Anne Stauffer, and Clyde Andrew Stauffer.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Wilde Funeral Home, Parkesburg, PA, with visitation starting at 9:30 a.m. until service time.  Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of Eastern Pennsylvania at efepa.org or the Philadelphia Eagles Autism Foundation at eaglesautismchallenge.org .
