Robert M. Bush

Robert M. Bush, 84, of Atglen, passed away on Thursday, February 14th, 2019 under the care of Harrison Senior Living of Christiana. He was the beloved husband of Virginia Graybeal Bush with whom he shared 62 years of marriage. Born in Cochranville, he was the son of the late Caroline (Chambers) and H. Willis Bush.

Bob was a graduate of the former Cochranville High School. In his early years he worked on the family farm, then later became a self employed carpenter for over 30 years.

Bob was a member of the United Methodist Church and most recently he attended the Parkesburg United Methodist Church. He was a former member and past president of the Christiana Lions Club. He enjoyed baseball, bowling, golfing and traveling.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by his four children; Beverly Bush and companion Jeff Miller of Harrisburg, Thomas Bush and wife Jody of Parkesburg, Curtis Bush and wife Paula of Atglen and Andrea Reever and husband Mike of Denver, PA, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by all his siblings, Jean Kline, Helen Myers, Willis Bush, John Bush, Edith Hilaman and Mildred Farmer.

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 11 AM at Parkesburg United Methodist Church, 411 Main St, Parkesburg, PA 19365, with a viewing at the Church from 9:30 AM until 11 AM.  The interment will be held at Glen Run Cemetery of Atglen following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkesburg U.M. Church at the above address.
