Robert Larry Gordon

Robert Larry Gordon, 65, of Atglen passed away at his home on Wednesday, July 14, 2021. Born in Coatesville he was the son the late Charles Gordon Sr. and Beatrice (Carr) Gordon. He was the beloved husband of Fay Elizabeth (Conover) Gordon with whom he shared 40 years of marriage.

Robert was employed for over 25 years by Brinkley and Ober of Cochranville/ New Castle.

Bob enjoyed the outdoors, he loved to go fishing and hunting every chance he got. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his kids and grandkids. He is going to be missed dearly.

Robert is survived in addition to his wife by five children; Samantha Conover and fiancé Peter “Skippy” Barrow of Kennett Sq., Rebecca Horne and husband Jeffery of Tifton, GA, Robert Larry Gordon Jr. and wife Heather of Atglen, Bobbi Jo Popovsky and husband Colin “George” of Kinzers, and Amber Conover of Atglen, Pa. Additionally, he is survived by 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 3 siblings; Charles Gordon of Westwood, Fred Gordon of Reading, and Barry Gordon of Quarryville. He is preceded in death by one sibling; Joyce Kauffmann of Atglen.

A celebration of life will be held at a future date and time.
