Robert L. Ford

Robert L. Ford, 81, of Parkesburg, died on Thursday, November 22, 2012 at Harrison Senior Living in Christiana. He was the husband of the late Viola DeVoe Ford. Born in Parkesburg, he was the son of the late Gurt and Blanche London Ford.

Bob served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was employed by Warner Lime of Devon for 33 years retiring in 1993.

He is survived by 3 children; Audrey Harris of Oxford, Robin Brown of GA and Robert L. Ford, II of Parkesburg, 10 grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one sister Irma Coleman of Coatesville. He was preceded in death by four siblings.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 30 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg followed by interment at the Parkesburg Catholic Cemetery. Viewing from 10 to 11am.
