Robert F. Rambo

Robert F. Rambo, 78, of Coatesville, passed away on Saturday, August 20th, 2016 at Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia.  He was the husband of Janet (Ramstine) Rambo, with whom he shared 57 years of marriage.

Born in Coatesville, Robert was the son of Ruth (Long) and Nicholas Rambo.  He was a 1956 graduate of Coatesville High School.

Robert worked as a metallurgist at Lukens Steel Co. for 44 years, retiring 16 years ago.

He was a parishioner at Our Lady of the Rosary.

Robert is survived, in addition to his wife, by his daughter, Lyn Brown, wife of David, of Brandamore; grandchildren, Cailyn Sonneborn, wife of Kyle, of Baltimore, and Kyle Brown of Brandamore; and two siblings, Ruth Ann Zeigler (Kevin) of Coatesville and Frank Rambo (Margi) of Downingtown.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of the Rosary, 80 S 17th Ave, Coatesville, PA 19320 followed by interment in All Souls Cemetery.  The viewing will be from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
