Robert F. Killingsworth

Robert F. Killingsworth, 79, of Strasburg, formerly of Parkesburg, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2012 at ManorCare Health Services in Lancaster. He was the beloved husband of Maxine Killingsworth, with whom he shared 60 years of marriage.

Born in New York City, Robert was the son of the late Homer and Mary Killingsworth.

He was a 1952 graduate of the Scott Senior High School. He was employed G.O. Carlson's in the Coatesville Plant for 40 years.

Robert was a life member of the West End and Coatesville Fire Companies, and a social member of the V.F.W.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by three daughters, Judith Bicking, wife of Wayne, of Lancaster, Linda Fregeau of Parkesburg and Sharon Brady, wife of Joe, of Cochranville, seven grandchildren,15 great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren; and his siblings, Violet Oskins of Downingtown, Marian Wills (Alan) of Exton and Kathleen Perkins of Thorndale.

He was predeceased by his sister, Rita Applegate.

The viewing will be held on Thursday, August 16 from 6 until 8 PM and again on Friday the 17th from 10 until 11 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg. The funeral service will be held on Friday at the Funeral Home at 11 AM. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
