Robert Earl Becker

Robert Earl Becker, 85, of Coatesville, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at the Penn Hospice Center in Philadelphia, PA after a long illness. He was the beloved husband of Martha Anna McGinnis Becker with whom he shared 58 years of marriage. Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late Herman Becker and Elizabeth Todd Becker.

Bob was an area resident all his life. He enjoyed rollerskating and actually met his wife to be while skating at the roller rink in Exton. They married in 1962. He and his wife also shared a love for amusement parks and particularly riding on roller coasters.  Bob also enjoyed snow skiing and playing baseball when he was younger.

He was employed by Allister Electric Garage Doors and he was a member of the Wyebrook Baptist Church of Elverson.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by four siblings, Judy, Jane Dempsy, Beatrice Dempsy and Lester Becker, nephews, nieces and friends.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Wyebrook Baptist Church, 62 New Rd, Elverson, PA 19520. Visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 AM
