Robert Bratten Stevenson

Robert Bratten Stevenson, 72, of Strasburg, PA, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at the Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, PA. Born in Ocean City, MD he was the son of the late Joseph Garrick Stevenson and Jacqueline Patricia Casey Stevenson.

Bob grew up in the Salsbury, MD area. He proudly served in the US Air Force in Vietnam during the war. He spent most of his life in custom construction work around the Washington DC area. He was an accomplished golfer.

He is survived by his wife Marie Powers of Strasburg, PA, two daughters; Casey L. Stevenson of Rockville, MD and Lindsey Clair Griffing and husband Robert of Alexandria, VA, two grandchildren; Braden Garrick Stevenson and Margaret Griffing, Step great grandchildren; Matthew Slaymaker and Emily Slaymaker, one step daughter Cathy Riehl and husband Jay of Gap, PA and three brothers; Jim Stevenson of Ocean City, MD, Jack Stevenson of Fairfax, VA and Thom Stevenson of Annapolis, MD.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 11, 2019 at 12:00 noon at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery, Lancaster, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing at the funeral home from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon.
