Richard T. Kneib

Richard T. Kneib, 69, of West Brandywine Township. passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021 at the Reading Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Donna Harrington Kneib with whom he shared 49 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Richard J. Kneib and Gertrude Walters Kneib.

Richard was an area resident all his life. He was employed by CK Systematics in West Chester for 28 years retiring in 2009. He attended St. Peter Catholic Church.

Rick loved spending time with his family and playing with his grandchildren.  Rick's family was the most important thing to him and he always put them ahead of himself.

He was an avid sports fan, loyal to the Eagles, Phillies, Sixers, Flyers and the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame.  Watching sports with his sons was one of his favorite past times and being able to see the Eagles win Super Bowl LII was something he always hoped he would be able to share with his family. He is survived, in addition to his wife, by three children; Michael Kneib of Coatesville, Kristin wife of Justin Parmer of Leola, PA, and Timothy Kneib and wife Jessica of Downingtown, three grandchildren; Alexis Herr, Jackson Parmer and Sophia Kneib and two sisters; Patricia Willmott and husband Dave of Downingtown and Linda Eshleman and husband Dave also of Downingtown.

Rick will be greatly missed by all of his family.

Memorial Services will be scheduled and announced at a later date.
