Richard Leon Hall, Jr.

Richard Leon Hall, Jr., 47, of Gap, passed away at his home on Thursday, February 13, 2014.  Born in Coatesville, he was the son of Paula Lee Wallace Hall of Gap and the late Richard Leon Hall Sr., who passed away in 2001.

He was employed by Merk Construction Inc. of Lancaster.

A resident of Gap most of his life, he had attended Pequea Presbyterian Church and Newlinville Mennonite Church.  Richard was a member of the Gap V.F.W. and the Christiana Legion.

Richard is survived by his beloved daughter, Samantha Renee Gehman, wife of Matthew, of Lancaster; one granddaughter, Mikayla Gehman; his siblings, Todd Hall of Ephrata, Bradley Hall of Christiana, and Carl Hall of Paradise; his uncles and aunts, and nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 19th at 11 AM at the Parkesburg Mennonite Church, 6 E 2nd Ave, Parkesburg, PA 19365 followed by interment in the Upper Octorara Cemetery of Parkesburg.  Pastor David Gehman officiating.  The viewing will be held at the Church from 9 until 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 5455 N. High Street, Columbus, OH 43214.
