Richard John Smith
Richard John Smith, 61, of Coatesville, passed away on Wednesday, October 17th, 2012 at the Paoli Memorial Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Joan M. Wysocki - Smith, with whom he shared 41 years of marriage.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John and Helen (Warren) Smith. He was an area resident for the past 35 years and a parishioner of the Our Lady of Consolation Church of Parkesburg.
He is survived, in addition to his wife, by his two beloved children: Steven D. Smith, husband of Susan, of Downingtown and Michelle C. Sano, wife of Tony, of Coatesville; four grandchildren; and three siblings, Patrical Nedzel of Hanover, Ronald Smith of Conn. and David Smith of N.C.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 19th at 11 AM at the Our Lady of Consolation Church, 603 West 2nd Avenue, Parkesburg, followed by interment in the Parkesburg Catholic Cemetery.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 10 until 11 AM at the Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard's memory to the Pope John Paul II R.C.E.S., 2875 South Manor Road, Coatesville, PA 19320.
